CDFB

The Chester and District Federation of the Blind (CDFB) is a charity run by and for people who are blind or partially sighted.

The charity, which was registered in December 2009, had evolved from a branch of the National Federation of the Blind.

CDFB exists to try to meet the needs of people with a visual impairment by providing those services which are either not provided, or not sufficiently provided by other organisations or agencies.

It is our aim to provide support from diagnosis, and throughout the lifetime, of people with a visual impairment.

Walking club members

The walking club was set up to help people with poor mobility and afraid of walking outside etc get some much needed excercise. We created a special indoor course for people to enjoy a good walk in a safe and secure building with someone looking over them. If your interested in joing our walking group please get in touch.
